Our current balance is $58,384 as of January 31, 2019. 🙂 The black line is what our balance would be if we paid the minimums only. The green line shows how our principal only payments have lowered the balance faster. We paid the minimums early in our loan because we were pregnant and renovating our foreclosure. Then we refocused on the mortgage and started making principal only payments.
We’ve paid off $71,690 in 25 months.
